Stereosonic 2011 Lineup Leaked
This morning a photo was posted on inthemix forums that featured the promo billboard poster of the Stereosonic 2011 Lineup – supposed to be released (and still will be officially) on Friday. The poster showed big names such as Armin van Buuren headlining, Ferry Corsten, Avicii as well as Afrojack, The Bloody Beetroots, LMFAO, Benny Benassi and Carl Cox. Totem Onelove explained that apparently some eager poster distributors jumped the gun and put the posters up too early!
“Due to a miscommunication between the billboard company and the company responsible for installation, a portion of the Stereosonic lineup was released onto billboards in Sydney,” a press statement issued to inthemix from the Stereosonic organisers explained. “Rumours are circulating that the billboard company staff were so excited about this years they just had to share it with Sydney’s commuters a week early. We are quite amazed at how quicklythis was shared by patrons on twitter, facebook and inthemix.com.au forums. At least this shows the effectiveness of billboards at key spots in Sydney even on a bleak and cold Sunday morning.”
The full official lineup for the 2011 festival will be released this Friday the 22nd July. Armin and Ferry are enough to get us there!
